hello all,
we finally received good news today. casper's blood count went up 2 points and the vet asked us to pick him up right away and bring him home. we just got home and he was walking around making sure all his stuff is where he left them. we are soooooooooo happy. but we are trying to make him rest because he is not cured and the blood count could still go down again. he needs to keep eating his meds and getting blood tests so we need to keep going back to the specialist. but at least he gets to stay home. we hope the number stays up and keeps increasing. i have to feed him his meds every 12 hours and keep a close eye on him in case the number goes down again.
it is such a miracle and we do not know how to thank you all for your support, prayers, etc....
today is such a good day specially after all those miserable days in a row.
i am so happy to report good news to you all this time.

Oh Leslie. You made my day. This is grrrrrreat news. He's still has a long way to go but who cares. Let's take this an hour at a time.

I am sure you will be cuddling him all night long.

We will keep praying and sending ++++ vibes your way.

Everywhere I go and that they know about Casper the first thing I get asked is "did you get any news on Casper?"  Cool

I am so happy for you all. Keep it up. We won the battle but not the war yet!

i feel like pinching myself so that i know it's true. he is here at my feet sleeping. yesterday we were fearing for his life and now he is here at home. it has been such a rollercoaster although i still need to worry about what our next blood test will say. i hope it will be good news from now on.

casper was so happy to be home. as soon as we turned the corner to home, he sat up and went over to my side of the car ready to go down.

What Fantastic News!  I'm so very, very happy for you and Casper!

I've been keeping my b/f updated about Casper and just a few moments ago while I was cleaning the kitchen he came running upstairs from the office and said YOU DIDN'T TELL ME!!! YOU DIDN'T TELL ME !!!  I said tell you what?  He said Casper is HOME!!

I'm just so thrilled!  We will continue to keep Casper in our thoughts for good health!

:'''D I KNEW he'd come home!! He just had to. It'll be kinda scary for awhile,  probably (scares like that are HARD to get over) but it will be okay. Oh I know how glad (and RELIEVED!) he is to be home. And you to have him.
You must be worn out. Maybe you could just snuggle him up & he'll settle down & have some naps. If that doesn't work, maybe yawning at him & making your eyes droop like your sleepy.
OH I'M SO HAPPY FOR Y'ALL!!!!

I'll still be praying for Casper right with my prayers for Gypsy.

ps One word for "fastfood". Tuna.  Bumblebee Solid White is waaaay better than Starkist & even better, it's  cheaper. It's the one thing Gypsy will try to climb the counter for.

We are sooooo happy to hear that Casper has gotten to come home.  This is the first time since around lunch that I have gotten a chance to get on here and was so happy to see those wonderful/beautiful words that Casper was home.

Keep stong Casper and family.  You are past the worst, relax and enjoy all the pamering you will receive until those blood counts are back up all the way.

You are still in our prayers and thoughts.  God is Great!!
