I had long ago thought something like that might be a possibility, but then forgot about it. But right after Choy passed away, I was really thinking about it again. I just didn't bring it up then as I thought the timing may not be the best. BUT......I am all for some sort of a memorial/tribute area, either on the boards or in a separate area on the site. Not sure what everyone would prefer. Personally, I'd like to see pictures and some stories and stuff for any memorial put up. So it might be better as a separate area, but it would be easiest just to have a section on the boards for that.

I'm all for it, and if there is interest from others here, it would be nice to know.

Any thoughts on format or anything?

(PS...I'm going to move this to the Site/forum section for discussion there....as it fits better!)

I think a memorial section would be great.  Many of us have pets waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge and it would be nice to have a place to talk about them.

I think it is a good idea.

Would it be open to all animals (cats, dogs) or just eskies?

That's one question to iron out. I was mainly thinking just eskies for *here*. Though I don't mind discussion about grieving/loss/memories of other pets, as it can often relate and help, I think if it were a part of the board directly we'd need to keep it mostly eskies....especially in formal or semi-formal memorials. If I can come up with something different, then maybe it could be more expansive, but I will need to think on that some. I'm open to ideas and suggestions on this as always.

Would people who've lost an eskie like to put up a memorial page for them? Or have me, or someone else, do one for them instead?

Or would you just want an area to discuss grieving/loss/memories?

Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? Let me know....

I think it's a great idea too.  I think just for Eskies here.  But perhaps on the Canine Court Board, they could have a section for any breed?  I know I would've really appreciated having a section like for my Scotties when I lost them - I really had to search to find a good place to build a memorial page for them.

I'm all for it!
