Funny Bone topics

I noticed when I posted something new to the Funny Bone section, that it doesn't show up on the main board with an arrow indicating a new post under Lounge.  How come?  Should I post in Lounge instead of Funny Bone?

The FB section doesn't put an arrow on the front page as it's a "sub-category". Thus, you just see the link to it, and not whether there are new posts there or not.....until you load the Lounge page...which it is a sub-category to.

The FB section was started so *I* could share some comics/humor, etc. with the rest of the members. Since some of it might have been considered "intellectual property" and not formally licensed or anything, I just wanted to share with "friends" in a way like showing someone a cartoon you cut out of the paper type of thing. Thus, it's a members-only area.....and you have to be signed in to view. Guests and casual users can't view that section. I later expanded it so other members could share as well......I just wanted it to be safer to do so before I did that. The section has been hiatus for a few months now, but eventually I intend to add regular humor stuff there again. It will remain members-only though.....so whatever's shared in there, is only shared with members, and not others.

You can post humor in either the FB or lounge area. Anything in the Lounge IS viewable by others...even guests though. So, it's your choice where you want to put any humor or anything.....members have used both areas.

Thanks for the explanation, Michael.  Could you please move this thread to the Lounge. I didn't mean to exclude guests from reading my funny!  Thanks.
