I just got a notification that Petco has a 20% off site-wide event so I thought I'd pick up some new treats for Sadie.  Any advice about what you all give your dogs?  She never saw a treat she didn't like--everything from Charlee-Bears to homemade super fancy (and pricey) peanut butter treats I bought on vacation, for which she would sell her soul.  I saw some called, I think, Wellness Treats for Happy Hips that have Glucosomine-Chondroitin which might not be a bad idea given her age (10 1/2), although she's getting some g-ch in her food already.  What treats make your dogs go over the moon?

Sam is on Pet Botanics Training Rewards.

Funny thing is, she's on the blue-bag version of the food which is the "New! No corn formula" -- no corn whatsoever, not even corn meal, which is what I wanted.. but I can't find a single place on the internet that shows or sells the product, not even the company's website. My husband spotted it on the top shelf at Pet Smart one day while I was trying to find no-corn treats for her (corn of any variety doesn't sit well with her, even in treats). It was weird because it was like they weren't even selling it, it was just way up high where barely no one could see or reach it.

[On a side note, I notice in some locations on the 'net like Amazon, some of the other Training Rewards treats are toted as "no corn" in text descriptions, but it isn't true as they contain corn meal. So not sure what's up with that. It's only this one that's truly no-corn.]

Anyway, so that's what we buy now. We always know where to find it.. I've tried to tell the store employees they should relocate it. These treats are awesome.

She can hear the bag open from across the apartment and will come running.

Chester is a goat and will eat anything. But... if it's a banana or banana flavored, he flips out. Smile

Sophie loves treats, she'll eat anything that seems to be good to her. She even like green beans, but we don't5 give her those anymore. Sophie used to love doggy ice cream, but we stopped giving her it cause she has food allergy toice cream and too much will cause her to throw up.
