What does everybody stuff their Kong with?  those little snack crackers seem to go awfully fast.

I know some people say peanut butter, but wouldn't that take almost a whole jar of PB?

Angel and Sweet Pea have the tiny Kongs - petite for SP and Senior for Angel.  The Senior holds more than the petite because it is softer, so I try to equalize what I put in them, but it seems as if I am constantly running out of things to stuff them with.  I don't freeze them.  They get them for a mid-afternoon snack - and can they tell time!

I spread about a teaspoon of peanut butter all around inside, especially the narrow end. Then I may add cherrios, pieces of cooked chicken, anything that comes in handy. They tend to stick to the peanut butter. I close everything up with something bigger that is the size of let's say a Milk bone. Anything low fat is good to me if it fits in there.

I also have different food treat dispenser that are a bit harder to get through as Nuuk is my pro at this and would finish hers in seconds. Tako has no interest in those (too much work for him) and Kooza is not fast enough and ends up losing it to a fast Nuuk. So needless to say Kongs or similar objects are not commonly used at my house (and let's be honest: I'm too lazy to fill those out all the time.) hihi

Or I  will also during the warm summers freeze a bit of plain yogurt which I add a few kibbles, etc.

For receipe ideas, you can also go on the Kong website. They used to give examples on how to stuff them.

Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there!

Thanks St. Mom!

Cheerios =  I thought I had to go to the grocery store just for dry roasted peanuts.  Now Cheerios are added to the list.  Angel waits for me to pour out my cereal every morning and then she comes forward to get her share.  What a way to go broke!
