Tammy,

I hope you took the time to remove all the stuff in your living room so Kooza could have had all the fun he wanted! Starting young is always a good thing Big Grin

Not exact, but similar.  LoL!     You joke, but he's up there.  My entire dining room was converted into a puppy play area.  Ask Barb.. he has full run of the room.  Now that he's pad trained he's had full run of the house since he was about 7 weeks old (I just keep a pooch and wee wee pad on top of that in every room).  He knows to use them.  Since he is little and only does a teaspoon of wee at at time, it's not bad for just one pup.    I may have to rethink the freedom thing with more than one in the future though.  LoL!

Kooza has...
A Castle w/slide and climber
A puppy teeter totter
An exercise balancing donut
Kitty play cubes that look/act like tunnels
and... he's been exposed to about 16 different surfaces over the last 10 weeks.   He'll walk on just about anything.

He also thinks the following kitchen appliance are agility equipment.    He loves the Dishwasher and climbing up in it, when I'm loading dishes.  What's wtih that?     His little short life also almost ended last night, when I was cooking dinner and had the refrig open.  He climbed into the refrig to check things out.  He almost got shut in the refrig.  If I had not seen him, he woudl have been.  That would have been awful.    Every day he does something that fits his registered name of "Some Like It Cool".   Refrig is a cool place to be.     He'll love canadian winters.

The more I read, the more fortunate I think I have been in waiting for this puppy for so long. I better keep up the pace to make you proud. hihi

And yes he will love our Canadian winters. Sylvain last night was looking at a picture on our desktop (via webshots) and it had Nuuk in her winter coat. He said to me that I had to make sure to order a coat and booties for Kooza. He did not want him to be cold during the cold spell we get a few days a year. Yep...he'll get his own little coat and cute booties too. Even with his hair coat he'll use them when we reach the -40c sometimes.  Crying

Sad... the first thought in my mind wasn't how cool the equipment would be to have for a puppy but instead of how terrible all that newspaper would be to clean up after the puppies shredded it all.

I have water proof matting down in his room with a faux grass potty patch in the room/pen, that Kooza took to right away.  No need for the newspaper.   He was pad/potty patched trained almost immediately after he could walk out of his whelping box.   Of course being a puppy and a boy he'll miss the pad every once in awhile... he thinks that if his front is on the pad that so is his rear.  Lol!

I refuse going the newspaper route.  I never even subsribed to the newspaper, because I hate the way it feels and black ink marks /residue that it leaves on your fingers and hands. blah!
