Well, I stopped the the pancreas meds after 4 days, Shiraz was peeing in the house, which she NEVER does. I wish I hadn't gotten it, it wasn't a definite diagnosis and it was very expensive. Her stools are the correct color now, but she is going a lot more and they still are not quite normal. Does this food that is easier to digest make them have to go more? I see it has a lot of corn, is it less nutritious? She is on the Purina EN. I have to get up in the middle of the night a lot to let her out now. She also seems to be constantly hungry, moreso than her normal self.
I'm wondering if I should try introducing a bit of her Fromm's food back in with this and do maybe half and half?
Any suggestions?

Talk to your vet. Her problem is not a simple one.

I would definitely be making a vet visit since you have stopped the meds. Finding the root of the trouble is really the only way you are going to resolve Shiraz's health issues.
Feel better soon Shiraz, you are making your mom worry too much!

I also agree -- have the vet help you with finding out what may be going on. So sorry to hear that the meds didn't work and that she was peeing in the house and hungrier than normal. A food with corn as a major ingredient would definitely explain why she's hungier than usual, since it's not really nutritious. Interesting that the Purina EN is noted as being more digestible since it's supposed to be lower in fiber, but I'm confused because the 1st 3 ingredients are Brewers rice, corn gluten meal, and whole grain corn. Corn is definitely high in fiber. I'm not sure if this is the best food for her, but hopefully, your vet can give you some advice on it as well.
Good luck, and thanks for always keeping us posted on how both Shiraz and you are doing! You're doing a great job with taking care of her the best way you can!

Here is an interesting observation. I have been thinking about this now since her stomach issue started roughly a month ago, we've been on the new food a bit over a week. Her stools were getting better, not totally normal, but the color was getting normal and they weren't so soft. Last night I gave her a bit of her old food, she had diarrhea. I started thinking more about this and looked at my records. I opened a new bag of her food roughly a month ago, is it possible there is an issue with that particular bag of food? I fed her the new food this morning and she had a much better stool this afternoon. She also wanted to take a short walk this afternoon, which she has not wanted to do in a long time.

yes. it is possible. i had this issue once, i threw out treats, went thru vet visits, meds, etc. it wasnt until the vet said to throw out the food that it solved the problem. the food wasnt bad by the date on it, by apparently it was upsetting everyone's belly. so, it's possible.
