Mad  I just moved in to a new place and the a\c was in the process on being fixed.  2 weeks later and I am being told "any day now" (I'm in law school so don't worry...I'm considering possible courses of action on that front).  It's roughly uppers 80s to high 90s every day (I've only been back to the States for 3 weeks now, but really every day since then).  I have fan running 24\7, along with a ceiling fan.  I can "tolerate" the heat, and at night -it's not so bad...

BUT, can Winston handle it?!  He seems to be eating, drinking, pooping, etc. fine.  His energy level is a little lower, but so is mine Smile  His gums are pink and normal.  Some days he even lies out on the balcony in the beating hot sun.  We go on walks and he's tired- but fine.

I'm still worried.  My apartment is HOT and I'm uncomfortable so I can't imagine that he isn't...Tips?!  Thoughts?

Thanks!

I would be in a hotel and making the apartment complex pay for it!

Only other thing I would add, would be a cool pad, but it may be hard to find locally....Tuesday morning had them once, but i have usually ordered mine of the net.

Or a damp towel on the floor would be another thing and make sure he has plenty of water.  Do you have any fans?

as an aside, i'd call my own a/c repair person, then deduct the cost of it from next month's rent.
or, like nancy said, call the holiday inn, and be deducting it from rent.

He might enjoy some ceramic tiles spread on the floor of his kennel

I would check your state laws.  In Nevada if it gets past a certain temperature your landlord has to front the costs for a motel until  the AC is repaired.
