I'm so sorry Mandy!  I was hoping for better news.  I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.  Enjoy each and every day with her.  Even if they live to 18 or 20 years it's never long enough...

I am sorry to hear about Monkey. Sending prayers and good thoughts...

Our vet practice has a holistic vet on staff who uses Chinese medicine (and other modalities)... We have not needed to use her but I know a lot of patients in the practice feel like they have benefited from her care. I hope Monkey feels better soon.

Poor baby!  Frown  Sending prayers and postive thoughts for Monkey's recovery! 

Has the vet mentioned milk thistle to you?  It is a natural product that is supposed to aid liver function.  Our avian vet recommended it for our aged cockatiel when she suddenly became ill with liver and kidney disease and it worked wonders in her case.  The rest of her life (over a year) she remained free of symptoms.
