I joined the board a while ago, but mainly just enjoyed reading the postings.  I just recently made a couple of posts.  I have 3 Reskies, Tibs 6 yrs., Jazz 7 yrs., and a long term disabled ERU foster Jake 8 yrs.  I compete in agility with Tibs and Jazz.  We also have a 9 mo. old puppy Miakoda, that I have begun showing in conformation.  She got her UKC Championship at the Premier in Richmond this year, and a recent Best of Winners, and Winners Bitch at the Steel Valley Cluster in Canfield OH.  I guess like everyone else who shows in conformation we are now chasing points and majors, so I am hoping to get informed on shows that other folks with class bitches will enter.  I'm also a complete conformation novice, so the wisdom of those experienced show folks will be very helpful.  I also volunteer and foster for ERU, and am the rescue coordinator for AEDCA, so this is a great forum to connect with other Eskie rescue folks.

I do have one question.  I notice most folks have photos included in their signatures.  I can't seem to figure out how to include them, and my search through the boards has not helped yet.  How do I add photos?

Welcome!  there should be an option under profile that allows you to add your signature.  You will need to upload your pictures somewhere else first though like photobucket or something then just copy the img link and paste.

Hi, Gayle!  You should remember me - I was at Premier with you.  My daughter had the girl and I had the two boys.  You did very well at the Premier - a good introduction for you.  How far do you want to travel for points?

Yes,go to the top - the blue line of options and there is a tab there for "profile" and check for your signature.  As Evania said, you will need to use photobucket or some other place to store your picture but link it to here.

Then, for your signature, you just post the photo in the appropriate part of your profile the way  Evania and Carol said.  The rules about photo size for your signature, etc are here: http://forum.eskie.net/index.php/topic,8068.0.html.  I use Photobucket for my signature photo because it is easy to resize it to the appropriate size.

I managed to teach myself to insert a signature picture. I even set up a photo-bucket account. Then I promptly forgot everything I had learned. So I still have Christmas pics showing! One of these days I am going to walk myself through the process again so I can share new pictures!!!

Welcome Gale! For a complete novice I think you did pretty darn OK! I was your class competition at the Premier with the little girl who thought someone was out to get her.  We're getting better at that.

Miakoda definately has her days too.  Thurs. at Canfield was the first time she showed on grass, and since I was an idiot and did not anticipate and train for that she went in to the ring thinking it was a romp.  She leaped and galloped her way around the ring.  The judge WAS NOT amused.  She just came into her first heat, so thankfully she'll be out by the time we are entered in Lebanon IN, but with a pup there is always a chance she'll forget what we are there for.

Nope, I'm on my own at dog shows.  My husband managed her first one to document with photos, and is now more than happy to stay home and manage the rest of the Eskie pack.

Finally had time to figure out how to get photos of the "kids" posted with my signature using photobucket.  Thanks to everyone for the directions.  Not too bad, only took me about 20 min. to figure it all out.

Welcome Gale!  I enjoyed reading about your beautiful pups!  I've got three reskies, too.  Snowball is the only purebred, Princess looks a lot like an eskie, but she's a BIG girl, and Bandit's mother was an eskie, but we don't know about his daddy!  They are all great pets.
