A couple of weeks ago, a nursing home called looking for someone to rescue an eskie.  Chipper, as he is called, lived in a retirement home with his mom.  She passed away and her family was unable to take care of Chipper.  A friend in Austin picked up Chipper and is fostering him until we find him a home.  I got to meet him this weekend and he is adorable.  He is 10 years old, hard of hearing but LOVES treats.  He had no trouble coming into a dog show and hanging out with us for a couple of hours.   No problem with dogs or new people. He is up to date on his shots and his vet records will be available.

Yep, no takers on this adorable boy yet.  Just PM or email me if interested in this little guy.

I have another one that I just discovered in need of a home, but I do not have many details yet.  He is around 18 mos old.  Does great with other dogs.  He is currently being fostered by a Great Pyrenese and Husky rescuer in my area.

Chip is still trying to find a forever home.  His foster mom was no longer able to foster him due a family illness, so Chip is now here with me.  He is a sweet little guy!!  He is loves to be petted and fed treats.  He is fine with the other dogs and cats....he completely ignores them unless they bother him, then he lets them know he doesn't want the attention and he goes back to doing his own thing.

He would make the perfect companion for a senior.  He lived in a nursing home all of his life, so that would be a great environment for him also.  If you know anyone that has room in their heart for this little guy, PM or email me.

(If you are between TX & Minnesota, I know a car going that way soon, that he can hitch a ride in!)
