Zahra is on Innova Evo, and has done well with it from day one. I don't know what the puppy was on, but I did add in the Evo slowly. He did not do well with it, so I am looking for something else. I have been wanting to switch Zahra to something lower in protein anyway, so maybe I can do both at the same time?
I'm looking at the Dog Food Analysis site. So far I'm thinking about trying Taste of the Wild, Wellness Core, or Go natural. Anybody have an opinion on which one would be better for the puppy's stomach?

From personal experience:
Natural Balance is the only thing that works for my super-sensitive stomach dog, Tahoe. We have tried Merrick (did decent until they changed the formula), Wellness (super 5 and CORE) but had to have FortiFlora added so that he could stomach it, Blue Buffalo (did not do well), Nature's Recipe (did horrible on), and Natural Balance Potato and Duck formula. We have not tried Acana, Artemis, Nature's Variety, Taste of the Wild or Go Natural, so can't help you there. I do know I personally would not try TotW with Tahoe as I have had many people tell me that it is too rich for their dogs so I know Tahoe wouldn't be able to handle it.
Tahoe is sensitive enough that I have a hard time even switching protein sources. I tried the NB Buffalo formula once and that made him revert to the way he was before (lots of cannon butt and vomiting). I just bought the NB Fish & Sweet Potato variety and am VERY slowly trying to transition to that as I want to give the dogs a little bit of variety so they don't develop allergies to the current food. So far so good there, but it has only been a few days. Time will tell if it will work out.
Anyway, I don't know if this is exactly what you were looking for, but this is the experience I have had. Every dog will vary though, so in the end you may just have to experiment.

Thanks..I decided to try Wellness core, since it is one of the few that were highly rated and is still grain free with a lower amount of protein. He hasn't had anything but a few wellness snacks and plain rice yesterday and today, so I am going to transition him slowly with the wc and rice, and see how he tolerates it. If he doesn't, I will check out NB.

I was worried about protein as well and it upsetting Teddy's stomach - but we just switched from Evo to regular Innova - and he's done much better on it! So that's something you could consider as well if the new food doesn't work out!

How old is the puppy? I really like Wellness Core as a food, but I think Wellness Core says that it is for puppies one year and older. Have you thought about trying the Wellness puppy food for the puppy?
My guys did wonderfully well on Nature's Variety, and they are doing great now on Annamaet. I'd also consider one of the Wellness "Simple" recipes that have fewer ingredients and are less likely to irritate the tummy.
