oh my goodness did I really see that milk cost over 4$ where you live.... OUCH.   I live in a dairy area and only pay 1.98 per gallon.  Good thing because my boys drink about 2 1/2 gallons a week.

Milk here usually runs 1.98-2.25 a gal. So yeah, 4.49 seems really high!

Hmmmm.... I think I already have Wendell's location narrowed down to the state!  Big Grin

Glad to see Wendell is on a health kick!  $4.49 a gal!?!  Ours is around $3 and we go through about 5 gallons a week.  If ours gets that pricey, I'm buying a cow!  Big Grin

Good lawd that's alot of money for some milk! Our milk for a gallon is $1.89. $4.49? Might as well jug gasoline and put milk in the car!

$4.49 for a gallon. That is a bargain. We pay about $7 per gallon. What are you complaining about. Big Grin

Well, I always try to eliminate my home state first. With those palm trees and fountains, it's sure not Minnesota!

Well I'm at sea here!  The palms trees, the expensive milk, the large organic food section, and Saroya's "Are the cows happy there?" make me think California.  But the 2007 Tostitos Bowl featured the Oklahoma Sooners (colors crimson and cream) and the Boise State Broncos (colors orange and blue).  Well the orange goes with the cover on the bass drum but Boise, Idaho does NOT have palm trees!   Maybe the orange drum cover just alludes to the colors of a high school band that got invited to perform at halftime, in which case I am more confused than ever.  So, to repeat, I'm clueless.

You said we could start guessing, right?  Well, it has to be California, but beyond that, I am still clueless.  More investigating on my part.

If it's California, then I'm shocked at the milk prices.  I don't think milk is that expensive here.... yet.

Wow, Marilyn, you sure did some sleuthing with all the colors for the school.

Wendell has an Ohio license plate attached to his collar.  Maybe that means something?  I haven't really been able to pick up on any clues other than that, yet.  Did he have the license plate accessory in his earlier photos for this host?  I don't see it.

this was my first time really trying and all I can think is that it is Cali. I tried so hard to figure it out I searched the B&N website to see which one looked like the one in the pic so I could find the city but none seemed to be a real fit.

Are there any California CELs who live in a dairy city?  (edited... okay.. so maybe there is... kinda sorta... but not really... but the other pics don't work with this idea... plus i don't think those tables are right... nor the part about the brothers.)  The palm trees could be Arizona. But, who would it be in AZ?

Edited again:  the Blue Cross Blue Shield trophy says Glendale, AZ.  Palm trees... AZ.... someone who has children... boys.

Edited again:  Ah, SCSBOA.

The trophy says "Presented BY BCBS of Glendale, AZ".
It still may be another band that competed in AZ.
