Jess, Anne Marie & Roger Meek have very nice puppies right now Big Grin PRETTY, that is who i was thinking about yesterday. I got to meet them at a recent VA. Show ! Roger is a FUNNY man, he had my daughter laughing so much she was in tears ! Anne Marie in a nice woman. You should talk to them !! They Live in North Carolina , but I would drive it, it's not that far . Their the only other breeders I had the pleasure of meeting during my 1 day stay.

As for cave Spring, thats a really nice area ( we use to live up Bent Mountain so cave spring was our hang out ) , but I don't know the Vets their, stop by there & ask a few questions & see if you feel good with them is the best thing i can say. I had a lot of trouble in my area finding a vet that will give the vaccinations that i wanted & what i didn't want them to have. I was afraid about lepto & carona vaccines with all i read. ( I had to do the lepto since we live in an area with a lot of wildlife, but i didn't like letting him do it )When you decide on when & where your getting your puppy, "set up a Vet visit ahead of time...within 1-3 days "

Anne Marie has those pups, but since you are looking for a puppy after March I know she also has one that is pregnant now that might work out better for you.

When I saw the comments both Platinum Eskies and Heaven Sent Eskies received, I thought it important to share my experience.  Last April I lost my 15 year Eskimo Blizzard.  It was heart wrenching to say the least.  I was unsure if I wanted another dog so soon, but I was looking online and up came Heaven Sent Eskies name.  Since I was not sure then was the time, I decided to ask many questions to the breeder, Jamel Hamka.  I explained that I had just lost my eskie and was just inquiring.  He was empathatic and compassionate to what I had just gone through.  He answered a series of emails (and there were many) and several phone calls from me.  He was always helpful, respectful and patient.  At one time I even apologized if I was bothering him with all the emails I was sending and his response was no, continue asking whatever you need to know.

Both after my interaction with Jamel, and reading about Heaven Sent Eskie, I decided to buy one of their pups from the Missy & Teddy litter.  It was the best decision I ever made.  I was first pick of the males, so I asked if I could fly up at 4 weeks and select my choice and both Jamel and his mother said yes.  I didn't need to because I feel in love with Mr. Blue and knew in my heart he was the one.  I asked if I could fly up and get him and they explained how he needed to stay with his mother until 8 weeks as he will learn many necessary qualities of pack life.  When 4 weeks came, and I was sent my description of the 2 males, Jamel continued to be helpful and answered more emails I asked about the specific puppies.  I chose Mr. Blue and last August 16, 2009 I flew to Illinois and was welcomed into Jamel's mother's home and picked up the most precious puppy you could image.  Diane spent time with me, allowed me to meet Mr. Blue's mother Missy and let him get comfortable with me.  I found Jamel and his mother to be open, honest, helpful and quite friendly.  They have given me a well adjusted perfect puppy who is coming up on his 1st birthday.  I am truly thankful to Jamel and his mother for Kodiak Blue, they helped heal my heart.  I would recommend either company to anyone.
