So we ventured out today to see Andrea (Tundra's foster mom) and watch the races today - my ears are still ringing! Tundra was a little afraid of everything but he managed and Andrea let him have some time to rest in her tent set up while we watched.

Bailey was another story. She absolutely loved watching the doggies run. BARK, BARK, BARK! She was in heaven. Since she loves watching it on TV, the real thing must have been awesome for her. Our vet was there racing and came over for a visit and said he thought she'd make a great candidate for racing since she played the part so well in the stands. It was very weird though, when our vet's team went up to race she would bark as soon as he started running his dog. He was second to go and the first lady would go and Bailey wouldn't make a noise, then he would run his dog and Bailey would go nuts! After they were done he came over and I told him and he couldn't understand it either. He just runs his dogs for fun now since his best dog is 8 years old now and doesn't have the speed anymore and they run their deaf JRT which is neat to watch because it's all with hand signals.

So it was a good day. Andrea told us that the day we came to get Tundra she was going to call us and tell us we couldn't have him since she wanted to keep him, but she couldn't do it to us with the fence and all  She got lots of hugs and snuggles with him though today.

Sounds like a very fun day was had by all.... everyone had a great time and I bet Foster Mom feels much better seeing that Tundra has such a great home.      Got to get Bailey involved in that flyball... sounds like she'll love it.

That's neat that you take him where he can visit his foster mom.  It sounded like they got very attached to him, and I'm sure they enjoy seeing him from time to time, and are happy he's doing well.

Reading this sound so much fun!

Glad that Andrea let Tundra go! He will be in good hands that's for sure.

Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there!
